In order to make use of and/or participate in Board Hatch Inc programs, courses and practice board meetings, Participants must agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully. By clicking “I agree” on the payment page, you agree to all of the following terms and conditions.

Participant Age

Participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate in Board Hatch Inc’s programs, courses and practice meetings.

I am 18 years of age or older.

Participant Behavior

The Board Hatch Inc programs, courses and practice meetings will take place in real time via Zoom at Board Hatch Inc’s dedicated Zoom address. Inappropriate behavior during the Board Hatch Inc’s programs, courses and practice meetings, including but not limited to rude language or gestures, foul language, removal of clothing and/or any nudity will result in an instant termination of the Zoom connection by the Host.

During the programs, courses and practice meetings, I will keep my camera and my microphone on, unless asked to do otherwise.

During any scheduled or unscheduled breaks, I will turn my camera and my microphone off.

During the programs, courses and practice meetings, I will not use rude language or gestures, foul language. I will be fully clothed, and I will not remove my clothing.

Photographs and Videos

Taking photographs and/or recording of any kind is prohibited at all times during the Board Hatch Inc programs, courses and practice meetings, unless every participant has agreed in advance in an email confirmation or by verbal agreement at the start of the session.

During the programs, courses and practice meetings, I will not take photographs or video recordings of the information or the people participating.

Re-Distribution of Materials

All program, course and practice meeting materials are proprietary to Board Hatch Inc. Re-distribution of any of the information with which you are provided during the Board Hatch Inc programs, courses and practice meetings is not permitted.

I will not distribute Board Hatch Inc. course, program or practice meeting materials.

Waiver and Release of Liability

The Board Hatch Inc programs, courses and practice meetings are designed to provide Participants with basic, introductory level information and guidelines for board service. When choosing to serve on Boards, Participants should not rely solely on what they have learned from the Board Hatch Inc programs, courses, and practice board meetings. Participants are solely responsible for informing themselves about the unique Bylaws and Rules by which those particular Boards are governed. Participants are solely responsible for their own behavior, decisions, and actions, when serving on Boards.

I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives, knowingly and voluntarily enter into this WAIVER and RELEASE.

I acknowledge that I have carefully read this WAIVER AND RELEASE and fully understand that it is a release of liability.

I am voluntarily participating in Board Hatch Inc programs, courses and practice meetings and I am participating at my own risk.

I acknowledge that Board Hatch Inc and all Releases are not responsible for errors or omissions in conducting board training courses, programs and practice meetings.

I waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind that arises out of my participation in courses, programs, and practice meetings offered by Board Hatch Inc, located at 3940 Laurel Canyon Blvd, Unit 424 in the State of California (91604).

I agree to voluntarily give up or waive any right that I otherwise have to bring legal action against Board Hatch Inc or any of its Releasees.

I release and forever discharge Board Hatch Inc, its owners, directors, affiliates, staff, volunteers, members, instructors, donors, agents, attorneys, representatives, heirs, or assigns (the “Releasees”) from any responsibility for my actions after participating in Board Hatch Inc programs, courses and practice meetings.

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Releasees against any and all claims, suits, or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, compensation or otherwise brought by me or anyone on my behalf, including attorney’s fees and any related costs.

To the extent that statute or case law does not prohibit releases for negligence, this release is also for negligence on the part of Board Hatch Inc and its Releasees.
